Extra fine gold powder for Arabic calligraphy and miniature painting

A binding agent from hide glue and gum arabic is mixed with finely ground gold leaf powder and worked with a brush, nib and magnifying glass for Arabic calligraphy and miniature painting. The high shine and metallic character can be achieved by polishing the painted gold surfaces with an agate stone.
